n the context of the global promotion of sustaina- ble energy development, Chinese electric vehicles have been gaining popularity in Latin America, an emerging market with great potential for the development of new energy vehicles. Based on the classic framework of technology acceptance and using data collected through Natural Language Processing, this article conducts an analysis of the acceptance of Chinese electric cars in the Latin American market. It concludes that Latin American countries generally hold a positive attitude toward Chinese electric vehicles, and the factors that most influence acceptance, in order of importance, are the range of battery autonomy, price and safety. As for the differences between countries, greater acceptance is observed in those countries with a more developed economy and relatively complete infrastructure.Downloads
