The Negotiation of the Japan-Mexico Economic Partnership Agreement. Scope and limitations

Fifteen years after its entry into force, this text deals with the negotiation process of the Japan Mexico Economic Partnership Agreement. After a brief introduction describing the historical context, it is discussed the relevance of the agreement for both countries, the manner in which the agree-ment was structured to maximize its benefits, the precursors of the negotiation, its development and the efforts implied, and the breakup crisis and the resumption of the conversations. Its happy ending and general results with some conclusions finalize the document.Downloads

Pursuant to the above, once the article is approved for publication, authors must send the Assignment of Rights Agreement form duly filled and signed. This form must be sent to mexicoylacuenca@gmail.com as a PDF file.
